Hanson Lawrie are actively looking for an experienced payroll professional for a 6 month contract, to work as part of a growing HR team, managing the payroll and pensions process collaboratively with an outsourced payroll provider.
In this stand-alone role you will be coordinating all payroll activities for the business and as such previous experience as a payroller is essential. You will be managing all aspects of the payroll function to include processing starters and leavers; statutory payments and RTI reporting. You will also be responsible for preparation of P11d’s, managing auto-enrolment in line with the pension provider and managing year-end processes. You will also be providing help and guidance to employees relating to payroll and pensions.
You will also be offering advice to the employer on pay matters mainly statutory pay requirements and legislation such as holiday pay and National Minimum Wage, and where necessary you will be liaising with HMRC.
